Curly Hair: Twists Style

Style
Pinned Twists

Materials:
1. Bobby pins may be purchased at Walgreens, WalmartCVS, and any Beauty Supply store.
(Please do not buy them from 99 cent stores. The ones from the 99 cent store, unfortunately, do not possess the same quality as other store brands do)
2. Hands/Fingers–of course. How else would one twist, or do anything else for that matter? God is good.

How To:
In no particular order, take a few twists–grab some pins either large or small and begin to pin twists down in whatever direction/position. If you have a style in mind that you would like to achieve, it should be a little easier and straight forward. If not, then as you pin, some sort of shape should surface. It is important to also make sure to not expose the ends of the twists–they must be hidden for protection. If the first trial doesn’t go as expected, don’t fret. Trial and error are awesome when it comes to curly hair. Many different cute styles can result from trial and error.

I couldn’t even provide you with adequate directions as to how I formulated the pinned twists above. Every time I pin my twists it turns out to always be different. To be perfectly honest, all four pinned twists above, slightly different. I often pin the twists in multiple positions/styles and take photos for a record. 🙂 It takes practice but it is certainly attainable and fun! I just love that after completion, it appears complex; yet it is so simple to do, not time-consuming at all, and is super elegant*. 🙂 You can accessorize to your liking as seen in the first two photos, or choose not to–absolutely your decision.
That is all f, for now, ladies and Gents. 🙂
