Her Modest Apparel: “…he changeth … the seasons…”

I never get tired of expressing the joy I have when the Spring season comes around – it never gets old. The beautiful blossoming flowers, and rich green leaves that paints my world is incredible – God is faithful to bless me with this exquisite season and to remind me of His great love!

Tis the season to wear bright colors for me. Spring inspires me to wear bright bold colors. I want to share a modest casual wear for this favorable weather. If you catch me on the street on any day (with exception of work days when I have to wear white), you would find me wearing something similar. It is a simple, modest, and seasonal outfit.

Outfit breakdown:
Green top: Kohls
Yellow jacket: gift
Denim skirt: I think Kohls as well; I’ve had it for a long time.
Boots: Kohls online
Purse: Charming Charlie online

I washed my hair earlier in the week and styled my hair as you see in the picture above. After I completed the individual plaits I braided my hair from the bottom up. I used a generous amount of coconut oil for my roots and on the hair shaft itself. When I began to plait my hair, I did not comb it because I had already combed it during the detangling process when I had saturated it with a good amount of conditioner.

Tools for hair:
Shampoo and conditioner: Suave Almond and Shea Butter
Cream: Carol’s daughter marguerite’s magic restorative cream
Oil: coconut
Thread, rat tail comb, and my hands!

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:”-Daniel 2:21 Are you in a difficult season of life? I urge you to trust in God – as He changes the physical weather season so will He turn those challenging circumstances around in your life for your good. It is just a matter of time. Don’t give up, keep praying and believing – help is on the way!

Have a blessed weekend.

Be inspired
