I love this song, period!
It is definitely another one of Ghana’s classics; one that brings an influx of memories of the mother-land to mind! What I personally love about this song is the lyrics. It is one of those songs that is just lyrically powerful–acknowledging God in His greatness.
“There’s no other King like our God,” it says. The title: Yewo Nyame means We have a God.
Although one may not understand exactly what the song is saying, just know that it is conveying Christ and the message of Christ is a universal language. 🙂
If anyone would like, I will be glad to translate the Twi language as it relates to this song into English for ya’! 🙂
